Andrew Lacey (b. 1969)

Acclaimed sculptor and founder, Andrew Lacey casts his spectacular large scale equestrian bronzes from his own foundry in Dartington in Devon. His outstanding life-size Megalith Still bronze has been digitally expanded for our purposes into an outsized scale (shown here), a project that Andrew would be delighted to undertake for a collector with a taste for the dramatic and plenty of space. We think it would make an awe-inspiring piece for an out of the ordinary garden. Andrew’s smaller pieces are similarly impressive – we are very great admirers of Andrew’s work in all its forms.

Heavily influenced by classical and renaissance equestrian sculpture, Andrew is a master craftsman of renown in his field. He has worked in conjunction with (among others) the V & A Museum, The Henry Moore Institute, the Venice Renaissance Bronzes Project, the BBC and Channel 4 as well as lecturing at Cambridge University and UCL.

Prices for Andrew’s work range from £250 - £60,000.
