Judy Buxton
Judy's reknown abstract paintings are formed of layer after layer of oils, thickly applied with her palette knife and astonishingly, in the end, creating a beautiful abstract scene -often sea-scapes depicting the wild Cornish coastline of her home.
Judy has received many awards, including First Prize, Gold Medal, The Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers in 1996 and she was awarded the Freedom of the City of London in 1997. She was a NatWest Finalist and Prize Winner in 1997 and The Hunting Art Prize Second Prize Winner in 2005.
Her work is widely exhibited throughout the UK and is collected worldwide. |
